Louis Vuitton’s suite at the Cannes Film Festival

As the weather in London gets colder and more like winter ever day, a lot of my friends have jetted off to Cannes. Due to work commitments I wont be able to join them this year, which was bad enough till I saw pictures of the Louis Vuitton’s pop-up suite for this year that is based in one of the hotels in Cannes.

On one side of the suite you find rows of elegant heels; displayed directly opposite are the one-of-a-kind embellished gowns (just incase you left your red carpet look to the last minute), and tucked away in the corner are a selection of paparazzi-friendly sunglasses.

“Greedy As A Pig” by Maximilian Wiedemann at Imitate Modern

Last week I had the opening of Maximilian Wiedemann‘s latest solo exhibition at my gallery, Imitate Modern. As usual, it was anything but a dull art opening!

Maddox provided us with gorgeous Bellini and vodka cocktails, while canapés were provided by Formosina, and for those who had a sweet tooth PopKakery were handing out sumptuous treats.

It was a great night, and was lovely to see everyone enjoying themselves!

After six months of having back to back shows, Imitate Modern is going to be taking a little breather till September (which means I get to return to a semi-sane person), but we will always still be open (check website for opening times) and with lots of fun works of art. Business as usual!

P.S.- Those adorable micro-piggies are looking for loving homes!

So, I haven’t done a “5 Things I Am Loving” post in quite some time (last one is here) because I have been so busy, and when you are rushed off your feet you tend to forget sometimes to stop and just smell the roses (bad metaphor but I am sure you get the idea). Having just had the opening of Greedy As A Pig at Imitate Modern (post to come), I have a few quiet-er months ahead of me…

I have been so busy recently and have not been able to make it into a spa at a decent hour for love or money. Spa By Car are incredible! They come to your house, and do everything from waxing to eye lashes. I can not recommend this company enough and with out them, I would have definitely been looking worse for wear these past weeks!

AdR x H&M

I didn’t think I could be more excited for a collaboration than I was for Versace x H&M (although I have to say I was slightly disappointed with the final result). Anna Dello Russo’s H&M accessory collection will be available from 4th October. The collection will be focused on bold, statement jewellery, as well as Anna Dello Russo’s signature jewelled sunnies, embellished minaudiéres and gilded shoes.
