I hope the sun comes out for Prada

As I experience another grey, drizzly (and freezing) London, my day has been inadvertently lifted by looking at Prada’s latest sunglass campaign (and Spring/Summer 2011 campaign video).

Based on the crazy baroque style sunglasses used during the Spring/Summer 2011 show, Prada is launching a limited edition 500 pairs for stores.

The capsule collection is being called “Minimal-Baroque”, and instead of the use of the usual models, Prada have fittingly asked fashion illustrators- Ivo Bisignano, Marcela Gutierrez and Andrea Tarella, to draw the little works of art.

The collection will be in selected stores from February.

If the video, or the sunglasses doesn’t even put a little smile on your face, I think it’s time you book a flight to the sun!
