A Night Out with the Adult Circus

Last night I went to The Windmill, a great institution of Soho in London. I go there quite often with friends for a drink, or for a place to go after visiting a night club (as I get older this has been happening less *cough cough*). On normal nights it is an up market strip club, but yesterday there was a whole performance put on by an Adult Circus. Last time The Windmill did an event like this they had Daisy Lowe as the center star- very cool!

While sipping on champagne we watched acts from dwarfs juggling, to body contortionists, to snake charmers, to fire eaters, to dancers and to singers… Basically the whole circus spectrum. The Windmill is an amazing venue to watch a show like this- I love the glitter stage, and the real theatre, yet cosy feel of the place.

I have to apologise about how awful my pictures are, I didn’t have my proper camera with me, and the lighting wasn’t really working in my favour.
