Metal – X Cream Shadow in Gold Carbon

On one of my trips back from Amsterdam I had to go to the MAC counter to pick up some new foundation, and then I ended up leaving with a bag full of products (damn those sales girls!)

One of my new products was this cream shadow, which the sales woman said I just needed to have! I’m not so sure about her assessment. I like applying my eye-shadow with a brush, I don’t like using my fingers (no precision and it gets messy) and with cream shadow you need to use your fingers. Also, it applied very thinly and unevenly, this could be because this is a new product for me and I don’t know how to apply it properly (if anyone has any ideas about what I was doing wrong, please leave a comment).
