I am partial to a bit of fur… OK, I am bit of a fur snob.
Which is why this gorgeous fur gillet from the Fendi Fall 2011 collection caught my eye. I love how it’s a collage of different furs; chinchilla, fitch and fox.
In some of the other fur pieces sable and shearling were also mixed.
The collection as a whole was lovely. It’s very obvious that design duo Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini Fendi work really well together. The clean cut lines are very Karl, while the creative patchwork pieces are definitely more Silvia.
