Julien Macdonald must have heard my pleas because his current collection is everything I’ve wished for since Roberto Cavalli’s Spring/Summer 2004 collection. Basically, stunning party dresses. Considering this was Julien Macdonald’s return to London Fashion Week after two years and that his theme was Viva Las Vegas it was never going to be drab!
Sparkling thigh-high dresses with shimmering metallic beads, silver tassels and crystals in gold, platinum and silver opened the show, making way for brighter orange sequins, intricate peacock blue beading and kingfisher blue sequins with chiffon panelling and deep, sexy plunge. Liquid gold gowns with sheer backs and art deco beading in burnished hues, a stunning blue-black beaded column, and beautiful midnight blue and platinum jumpsuits. In a word, pure unadulterated sex in the form of clothes.
Mark my words, Julien Macdonald will be the designer of the red carpet for the next season. Can’t wait to see who will be the first celebrity to wear one of these gorgeous designs! And it goes without saying I want all of them!

OMG what a collection! Very sensual, sleek and sexy silhouette! Gotta agree, Bible, any A-lister that wants to make a statement has got to be seduced by one of those dresses. Going to be checking the Red Carpet to see which celebrity wants to steal the show…
